Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Author Guidelines
The JAT welcomes original and unpublished contributions. The journal publishes articles in English and Italian and is committed to maintaining high academic standards through a rigorous peer-review process.

Submissions must present original work that has not been previously published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere.
Submission Requirements
Authors are requested to submit:
A complete manuscript in editable format (Word preferred)
An abstract (150–250 words) in the language of the article
4–6 keywords
Full name, institutional affiliation, and contact email
ORCID iD (if available)
All manuscripts must be anonymized for peer review.
Manuscript Preparation
Articles should normally range between 6,000 and 10,000 words, including footnotes.
Text must be clear, academically rigorous, and linguistically accurate.
Citations and references should follow a consistent scholarly style (author-date or footnote system, as appropriate to the discipline).
A complete bibliography must be included.
Greek, Latin, or other ancient languages should be properly formatted.
Figures, Tables, and Illustrations
Images, maps, plans, and tables must be submitted in high-resolution format (minimum 300 dpi).
Authors are responsible for securing permission to reproduce copyrighted material.
Captions must include source information and appropriate credits.
Peer Review Process
All submissions undergo double-blind peer review. Editorial decisions are based on originality, methodological soundness, scholarly relevance, and clarity of argument. The Editor reserves the right to request revisions prior to final acceptance.
Open Access and Copyright
The journal operates under no Article Processing Charges (APC).
